What specialties are available for my resort?
It depends upon your resorts needs and wants. Fitness Pro Travel has collected a database of interested and qualified professionals, which are designated by the specialty check boxes on the add resort information request form. Simply select the specialties you would be interested in hosting at your facility and our account specialist will contact you with further information.

Begin by completing the "add resort" form from this web site. We will have an account specialist contact you with further information on our programs.
How many hours and what days are the professional available to work?
The wellness professionals will come to you expecting up to three hours of work each day except for arrival and departure dates. Each resort handles those hours as best fits their schedule throughout the week.
Currently all facilities using our services run from Sunday to Sunday. This is very efficient for the resort industry. If you would like to utilize our pro's for specific dates or for cruise staff we can work with you to fit those dates into our system.
How does this program benefit our resort?

Is there a monetary cost to the resort?
There is no monetary cost to your resort. Our professionals provide their specialty skills to your guests in exchange for the remainder of their time to be enjoyed as a vacationing guest at your facility. Their stay is comp'd for a room that is often in the small percentage of vacancies and the value of their meals and drinks is minimal when viewed relatively to the overall cost of waste.
We are not an all-inclusive resort. Are we still eligible for the programs?
Maybe. In exchange for simple hotel fees it is difficult to find quality professionals interested in providing that exchange. If your facility is interested in providing complimentary service with meals, drinks and activities, we'd be happy to talk with you.
How do I know the traveling professionals are qualified?
Fitness Pro Travel or our affiliates have collected copies of certification or education to verify the professional achievement of each of our professionals. In addition we contact two professional references to ensure their experience is reflective of their application they have submitted to us.
FPT is the ONLY provider of these services that also provides you, through your secure resort login the ability to actually review the experience and credentials and photo of each traveling professional scheduled to provide their services at your facility.
Can we block out dates for certain holidays or events?
You may block out dates by simply requesting via email to Fitness Pro Travel or through the specific exchange company your resort works with. Please provide us 10+ months notice of upcoming block out dates as our traveling professionals often have to make travel arrangements many months in advance.
What if we have a problem with a particular instructor?
You may address specific issues with a traveling pro or you may contact us to follow up and deal with the challenge that occurred. Ultimately, you have the ability to block a particular instructor from returning to your resort in the future if you see no other potential resolution.
Do we have to sign a contract?
Yes, for your protection and clarity as well as for ours, we require that all agreements are backed up in written form. We will work with you in determining the details as we want this program to work well for you staff, your services, and your bottom line. |
